When 3GB can work for 7 days

It can work when your daily use stays below roughly 0.43 GB and Wi-Fi carries heavier activity. Maps, messaging and light browsing are easier to fit than frequent video, cloud uploads or laptop tethering.

Why the arithmetic minimum is risky

A fixed allowance gives you no room for an airport delay, a long navigation day or background uploads. If your expected usage is close to 3GB, the next package tier is usually more robust than planning to consume exactly the cap.

How to reduce mobile data

Download offline maps and entertainment on Wi-Fi, disable automatic app updates and cellular cloud-photo backup, lower streaming quality, and check which SIM is selected for mobile data before departure.
